Suitable for High School and College-Age Students
Test-based Career Planning provides you with an opportunity to evaluate important components of yourself in an objective and detailed manner. In order to make an informed and appropriate career choice, it is essential to have relevant data. Psychological testing is designed to provide that information. Areas tested include:
- INTERESTS
- APTITUDES AND SKILLS
- INTERPERSONAL FUNCTIONING
- PERSONALITY FACTORS.
The Career Planning process includes:
- A BACKGROUND INTERVIEW WITH A PSYCHOLOGIST
- PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING (up to 15 tests)
- AT LEAST 3 HOURS OF DETAILED TEST FEEDBACK
- A WRITTEN SUMMARY REPORT OF TEST RESULTS.
You will be encouraged to Research appropriate career alternatives, assisted with a Decision Making process, and helped to develop an Action Plan.
TIME INVOLVEMENT: approximately 8 hours testing and 3 to 4 hours of counselling.
