Career Smarts^® Workbook Program

The Test-Based, Self-Evaluative Career Planning process typically follows this pattern (based on individual needs):

• 1-hour background discussion with an Industrial Psychologist.
  
  
• Provision of a Comprehensive Self-evaluation Career Planning Workbook, and selected psychological tests and inventories.
  
  
• Career Smarts^®: The Success Guide for Mid-Career Change consists of exercises and checklists which allow you to evaluate yourself on those important variables that are necessary to make an informed career decision. It is designed to tap information often not readily available to you, in the following areas:
  
  
• Motivation (occupational interests and values); Personal Uniqueness (styles, temperament, and qualities), Skills and Abilities, and Personal Constraints.
  
  
• The psychological tests provide additional objective information which is integrated into the self-evaluation. The second section of the Workbook offers opportunities to do research on specific careers, make an informed decision and set appropriate goals and an effective action plan.
  
  
• 2 hours of test feedback.
  
  
• 1 hour of integration of the test feedback and the self-evaluation information.
  
  
• 1 hour of research, decision-making and goal setting re: a career direction.

OUTCOME: Comprehensive information on those variables found to be most necessary to make an informed career decision; coaching on research strategies; decision-making and goal setting.

If specific information on areas such as Sales, Leadership, Management and Supervision etc. is required, additional suitable tests can be provided. The cost will be pro-rated to reflect the additional materials, time to provide feedback, and integration of information.
